"Ain't No Sunshine" is one of the most famous American
songs of all time.  The song is sung by Bill Withers, who
was a great R&B singer.

The song is good to learn about the word "ain't."  This
word is a very informal way to say
isn't, am not, or aren't.

When Withers says "ain't no sunshine when she's gone"
he means "there is not any sunshine when she is gone."
He is sad because the girl has left.

"Ain't" is only used in conversation, and should never be
written.

Remember that it is very informal, and should only be
used in informal situations.
